Presentation - HSE Up-date
Christina Goddard - HM Inspector of Health and Safety carried out a presentation called 'How's it going? covering an overview of HSE myth busting; The real deal - highlighting issues found on visits to companies; Management standards in relation to Work-related stress; Up-dating Risk Assessments; and Forthcoming attractions i.e. Divisional work plans - Director Leadership; Worker involvement; Enforcement, and Service group work plans - Waste & Recycling - injury reduction; Control of Violence & Aggression in the NHS/LA; Lifting patients (LOLER) and the control of Legionella in nursing homes; Prison Service to be decided.
