Non Issued.

Correspondence:

Information was given out on the new HSE Funded Training available to Companies.

Financial Up-date:

34 Companies have now paid their 2010 Subscriptions of which 6 are new members.

3 new applications have been received and Invoices issued  awaiting payments.

2 Companies exempt from payment having joined in the last quarter of 2009.

1 Company paid double in 2009 so exempt from payment in 2010.

2 Companies are not renewing membership.

MCCSG  Monday 12^th April  LACE Centre  Behavioural Safety.

MOHASG - Tuesday 20^th April 2010 - HSE Up-date.

Presentation:

Mike Kershaw, Project Manager from Knowsley Community College gave a presentation on Engaging Employees in Safety. Highlighting the need listen to employees and full-fill commitments and promises.

For management to lead by example and to recognise the contribution made by employees. The main key being a good listener and a good communicator, get out and talk to employees and show that you are committed and care about them and not forgetting to provide the resources and support need.

The presentation was well received by the membership and the Chairman thanked Mike for a very interesting and thought provoking presentation.
